Sylvester Manor

We were lucky enough to be asked to help be a part of this wonderful event again this year, shucking oysters and bringing smiles to the supporters of Sylvester Manor.

The Event

Sylvestor Manor is an organic educational farm located on Shelter Island. It was one of the first original settlements on the island, but today they focus on bringing sustainably raised crops to their farmstand and CSA. Every year Sylvestor Manor hosts their Farm to Table event to help fund their mission.. 

Behind the fields and on the shore of a pond lies the Manor House, the venue for Farm to Table. Triangle sail tents are set up in the surrounding yard. Featured front and center is Peeko Oysters with are Large Wood Boat display. A team of 3 shucked over 1,000 oysters for the attendees, who also enjoyed a variety of Hors d'oeuvres and craft cocktails.

The Result

These events allow us to put our skills on full display, showcasing our creative as well as physical shucking capabilities. We’ll be hired to do their event next year as well. Its always a great opportunity to capture and share content on social media, generate other raw bar/ private event leads, and invite guests to New Suffolk for a farm tour.
